Fan and Shawl

Espana  Post pleased to present one stamp features the elements as part of  female fashion, fan and shawl  on the first of January 2009. These  two elements eminently peculiar characteristic of Spanish fashion.
A hand-held fan is an implement used to induce an airflow for the purpose of cooling or refreshing oneself. Appeared the folding fan, for the first time in Spain in the sixteenth century.
