SEPAC 2007 of Iceland

The current Iceland Post Office issued stamps of SEPAC 2007 consists of two conjoined stamps depicting the waterfall Selfoss in Jökulsá á Fjöllum. One of these stamps is the actual SEPAC-stamp. Jökulsárgljúfur is one of the most impressive river canyons in Iceland. It is 25 km long, 1/2 km wide and in many places more than 100 metres deep. The upper part of the canyon is the most spectacular section, up to 120 metres in depth. A greater part of Selfoss , 10 metres high , was proclaimed a natural monument in 1996.
