Malaysian Grand Prix 1999 Sepang

The Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is a racing circuit in Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located near Kuala Lumpur International Airport. It is used for the Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix, in 1999.

Malaysia issued the stamps to commemorate the Malaysian Grand Prix 1999 at the Sepang International Circuit . The issued stamp also mutual to promote Sepang Circuit not only the Formula one racing. There are 4 single stamp with different value 20 sen, 30 sen, 50 sen and RM 1.0

The circuit was designed by German designer Hermann Tilke and the layout of main circuit is quite unusual, with a very long back straight separated from the pit straight by just one very tight hairpin.In normally raced in a clockwise direction, is 5.54 kilometres long, and is noted for its sweeping corners and wide straights.
