Cockfighting on Laos stamps

A cockfight is a contest held in a ring called a cockpit between two gamecocks. Usually the contest is made for getting the outcome of the match. Originally it is a traditional event by some culture in Java Island long time ago or other nation culture.

Gamecocks are the roosters, not farm chickens, which are well bred and trained for increased stamina and strength. Sometimes the roosters are given drugs to increase their stamina or thicken their blood, which increases their chances of winning.
Now this event is prohibited because shown an example of animal cruelty by others and exploited by some gambler for getting outcome.
